Kamojang Laksana

This beans comes from Wanoja Coffee, a farmer cooperative based around Desa Laksana in Kecamatan Ibun, Kabupaten Bandung, founded in June 2012 by Hj. Eti Sumiati. Wanoja means "woman" in Sundanese, a name chosen because the cooperative began with women alone, and it has since grown to 55 farmer members working 81 hectares of plantation across the village. The mill is now run by Eti's son, Satrea, while members tend farms set in a former volcanic landscape at 1,300 to 1,500 meters above sea level, where an average temperature of 18°C and pine trees for shade create ideal conditions for slow, even ripening.
